Walk A Mile

• February 8, 2021

Brian Brennt starts a new series for Black History Month with a message on compassion and walking a mile in someone else's shoes. Brian briefly shares about Francis Asbury, one of the original Circuit Riders, and declares that being a Circuit Rider means having the heart and actions of an abolitionist. From Francis Asbury's life we learn what it looks like to always allow our hearts to be easily affected by injustice. Brian challenges us to actively listen to peoples stories and emphasizes that compassion is the first step in approaching the subject of racism.
