This item will allow us to record a high quality version of the stream which can be used in case in case of issues with the streaming computer like freezing up or crashing or not detecting signal correctly. I opted for the 4k version because I figured in the next 3 years we will probably want the option to record in 4k even though it’s not strictly needed now.
