The CR Internship is a hands-on leadership experience that places you at the heart of the mission. You won’t be on the sidelines doing background work or filling a role just to add it to your resume. You’ll be working directly with our outreach, music, or media teams while also getting to experience the core curriculum of CRX, our discipleship and missions program.
As you begin to lead and contribute more, your capacity will grow and your leadership will deepen through feedback and consistent practice. Over time, you’ll be trained, equipped, and integrated into teams that are actively reaching people, becoming the kind of leader who can carry the message of Jesus to a generation.
These internships are for those who already carry some experience in the areas below. Each track includes specific pre-requisites so you can clearly see where you fit.
Preachers Club & Evangelism Internship
Learn to study Scripture, craft messages, and preach the Gospel with clarity and conviction. Then lead outreach, mobilizing teams and bringing the Gospel to campuses and cities.
Music Internship
Grow as a musician while playing in a band and leading worship that fuels the mission.
Media Internship
Use your creative skills to tell stories, build campaigns, and move the mission forward.
Preachers Club & Evangelism Internship
This is for the evangelists, initiators, and self-starters who believe the Gospel carries power and want to spend their lives making Jesus known. You won’t just talk about reaching a generation, you’ll build into the movement that reaches them.
Media Internship
This track places you inside active campaigns with real timelines and clear expectations. You will contribute to projects that are already reaching students, shaping culture, and telling the story of how God is moving in this generation. As you develop your creative skillset, your work will carry weight, helping communicate the gospel in a way that connects and moves people toward Jesus.
Music Internship
This is about becoming a musician whose life and leadership reflect the message you are leading others to encounter.
Why do a CR Internship?
CR Interns are fully integrated into the Circuit Rider Experience (CRX), our 4 month discipleship training program. From day one, you step into full-time collaboration with our project teams across evangelism, music, media, and outreach initiatives.
Interns arrive Saturday, August 15 to join our Circuit Rider staff who return then from the summer outreach season. August 17 we start our fall orientation to kick start our respective projects and roles. When the Circuit Rider Experience begins October 19th, interns participate in the morning CRX lectures and receive the same spiritual and leadership training as CRX students. But instead of joining traditional short-term afternoon tracks, interns stay focused on their hands-on project work, contributing directly to initiatives and teams that help advance the mission.
This creates a unique environment where interns are both trained and trusted, growing through CRX teaching while gaining real leadership experience, building alongside our teams.
Only a limited number of internship spots are available each year.
